Sample potato fields destined for storage 1 - 3 weeks prior to harvest.  Collect one 3 tuber sample for each 10 acres of the field.

Our Testing Process
Extract DNA from juiced tuber samples and test with real-time PCR for pathogen inoculum for Pythium, Pink Rot, and Soft Rot.
Index each field for rot potential (based on the PCR results) from very low to high risk in storage.

Report the PCR results to the grower and discuss storage inventory management.

Monitor tubers in storage for rot outcome.
